It includes also archipelago of Jan Mayen and Svalbard and on the northern hemisphere Bouvred Islands, Peter Island and the Land of Queen Maud. From the east part it borders with Sweden, Finland and Russia. It is also sorrounded by Barrents Sea, North Sea and Skagerak Strait.
